Introducing Myself
Hi everyone!
Josh will probably faint when he sees I finally joined y'all's network - he has been on me for months now.
I consider myself a social media consultant and Web 2.0 developer. What I do mostly is install and implement custom solutions for business owners and authors. I have been programming for over 25 years.
I do a lot of custom WordPress work, including WordPress MU, and so forth. My favorite new service, however, is www.PlumbSocial.com - it is a way for businesses, authors, and publishers to establish a strong presence on the Social Web without eating a lot of resources. I am not interested in hard-selling it in this post, but please do check it our and give me your feedback.
I am also a publisher and a writer. I own www.daltonpublishing.com, a small press here in Austin, and am writing a book on social media and Web 2.0 optimization.
So, all in all, aside from the literary publishing, I am pretty much a geek! You can learn more about my main business at www.socialmediapower.com.

Your sites are very cool. I love the functionality, I'm guessing it is a big hit with bloggers, SM ers, etc.
Re: custom wordpress sites, our firm can put together custom-branded, specifally tailored themes for clients in less than a day, for a very affordable cost. See below, this is what i'm talking about.

Thanks, Mark. In a nut shell, I do social media consulting (analysis and plans) and Web 2.0 development (building custom solutions, themes, etc.), I also build nice social media newsrooms. I am a writer as well. My baby right now, though, is http://www.plumbsocial.com.

Nice! I have been looking for someone to work with who does WordPress themes. I am using some standard themes on Plumb Social right now, but want all of them to be custom, but do not have the time. Email me...
